A friend shared their triage buckets for hobby projects: Easy, Hard, and Important.

When you get a bit of time to do some work on the project, do an Easy to get ramped back up.

Then, once ramped back up, do one from Important.

Don't do Hard until other work or circumstances moves it to the Easy or Important buckets.

For example, other refactoring work chips away at the problem and makes it now Easy, or some real-world fire makes it inescapably Important.
