You want to add value, so you go where people are today and solve problems they actually have.
But now you have structurally locked yourself into the logic of the system of today.
All you can do is fill the potholes; you can't create new roads.
If you're trying to change the structure of the domain, you can't get stuck filling potholes because you'll never escape.
Instead, go to where people are today, solve a problem they have, but bring them along to a radically different world they didn't know they wanted or could even get to.
