Crypto started off being about ideals.

It was overtaken by speculation and financialization.

But it has also led to huge amounts of discovery of ideas and building.

Some subset of those ideas will turn out to be extremely useful.

What if you could take the good parts of crypto, throw out the speculation, and keep some of the ideals?

In the future, people wouldn't talk about "blockchain," they'd talk about the thing that embodied those good ideas originally explored in the crypto cambrian explosion.
