  • Data is typically seen as an asset for a given origin.
    • But it should be seen more as a liability.
    • Origins should prefer not to have the data with all the downside risk of having sensitive data.
    • There should be ways for creators of code to write arbitrary code that runs blindly.
    • This would allow them to do useful things for users on sensitive data… the only tradeoff is the creator of the code can't see the data or its derivatives directly.
    • This would allow safe "you can run anything."
