Different layers will by default diverge.
- Different layers will by default diverge.
- If you connect them with a steel band, then the highest pace layers will be locked to the speed of the lowest pace layer.
- But if you connect the pieces with rubber bands, then each segment can move somewhat independently… but over time, all else equal, they'll tend to converge.
- From default divergence to default convergence.
- An infinite difference.
- Be careful though… rubber bands can only stretch so far!
- If the segments go too strongly in different directions, they can snap the band and no longer default-converge!
