Git has only gotten more valuable with LLMs.

"Just track it in Git" made sense for a lot of different kinds of knowledge work.

But before, it was complex and had sharp edges… making it hard to expose to non-savvy technical users, let alone general consumers.

But LLMs are really good at driving Git properly, which means you don't have to expose those sharp edges to any users.

Just use Git.
