Horses and donkeys require very different training regimes.
- Horses and donkeys require very different training regimes.
- Horses are skittish.
- They're hyper-sensitive to everything around them.
- They're fearful, aware of the vibe and actions of everyone around them.
- They want to succeed.
- You can use that neuroticism to give them a training regime to improve on.
- Donkeys DGAF.
- A donkey isn't afraid of anything.
- If it doesn't want to do something, it simply won't, and there's nothing you can do to change its mind.
- So to train it you have to find the minor instances that it happens to do what you want, praise it, and then be done for the day and try to build on that tomorrow.
- If you try to get it to do something it doesn't want to do it will look at you: "well if you aren't happy with me not doing it, then I guess you'll have to kill me."
