I realized one reason I'm addicted to having Claude Code always "baking" something in the background.

I'm dysfunctionally future oriented.

Things that can "bake" give you leverage–they can be making progress towards completion even while you're doing something else.

Claude Code makes it easy to bake code.

There's always another session I could be feeding, unblocking, so that it can continue baking and give me leverage.

It creates a kind of manic energy, trying to always be baking, consuming every waking minute.
