If you look for greatness around you you will find it.

The trick is that you have to be open to the idea that you'll find it, and be looking for it.

Imagine coming to a meetup curated by someone you think has good taste in people.

They say: "I've invited each person here tonight because they are extraordinary in some way, even if it's not immediately obvious. Your job is to figure out what makes everyone you meet here great."

If you take that utterance seriously and believe it, you will undoubtedly find extraordinary things about the people around you.

But here's the trick: that's true in just about every group of people. We just normally don't bother to look for it.
