If you think you're better at receiving feedback than you are, you're exposed.
"Well I'm great at receiving feedback and they haven't told me it's not working so everything is good."
You think you're receiving feedback when you're explicitly receiving it, but actually you're receiving indirect feedback constantly.
People are calibrating what you're insecure about, what you lash out about, etc.
They'll walk on eggshells on things they can tell you care a lot about or are core to your identity.
So you're worse than you think you are, and people know it more than you think they do.
