    • The most valuable things are the things we find intrinsically rewarding.
      • These are the things that we will enjoy and grow into, that we will be in our flow state.
    • Money is about extrinsic reward.
    • If you would only do it for the extrinsic reward, then it might not be worth it.
    • Ideally money helps you do things you would already do for free, not making you do something you wouldn't do otherwise.
    • Of course, this tradeoff is easier when you are more financially independent; you have to put food on the table after all.
