    • The proper amount of individualism leads to innovation for the overall system.
    • But too much tears it apart.
    • The advice of "do what the hero of your movie would do right now" is hyper-individualist.
      • It fundamentally ignores externalities of your actions and treats everyone else as NPCs that don't matter as much as you.
      • If everyone in society followed this advice, society would fall apart.
      • We don't have our own movie, we all are in the same movie.
