Moving from one listener to multiple changes the vibe.

· Bits and Bobs 2/2/26
  • Moving from one listener to multiple changes the vibe.
    • I'm hyper-focused on people's reactions in real-time.
    • I'm constantly predicting their actions and morphing what I'm saying to land well.
      • This process, when done over time with many people, helps polish rough insights into broadly resonant frames.
    • But this process requires a ton of focus.
      • Having two listeners to do it for at once, to triangulate across different personalities and goals, is multiplicatively more challenging.
    • In small audiences I'm constantly workshopping new "material."
    • In larger audiences I tend to use material I already know resonates.
