    • Every system follows the path of its incentives.
    • If you work at an engagement-maxing company, you'll tweak to add a little more engagement, a little more addictive, a little more manipulation, over and over again.
    • No individual step is terrible, just a teensy tweak,
    • But after a decade you look up and realize how far the system has gone.
