Often people talk about the mythical 10x engineer.
The default frame is that special person who is intrinsically an order of magnitude better than others.
Another frame: the person who finds their flow state and maximizes their time in it.
People who are in their flow state are 10x more productive.
Being in your flow state is not an intrinsic quality; it is contextual.
People (and their management) can do a worse or better job at doing work that puts them in their flow state.
