The Silver Swarm describes a situation where there is a massive, obvious amount of value.

But as you zoom in on any part of it, any concrete grain is small, inconsequential.

From that, you could conclude that the whole swarm is low-value, but that is incorrect.

This happens when the power is not in any singular use case, but in the emergent value between use cases.

If you go looking for the concrete bits of value, it will be like the raccoon washing the cotton candy.

You might erroneously conclude that there's no value there, when in reality there is overwhelming value.
