The current generation of college and high schoolers are reacting strongly against AI.

They can see that it is evaporating their ability to climb the professional ladder, in a ratrace that was already absurdly challenging even before AI.

But I wonder what will happen for kids who never knew any other world.

My kids will likely one day be surprised to hear that it was ever hard to get computers to do what you wanted.

It will just be the water they swim in, not even to realize that it could possibly be different.
