    • There's simply too much information; you must choose what to look at.
      • You must filter.
    • Filtering can't be done only by you, because it requires looking at all of the information in the first place, it must be something outside you.
    • We think we know what is true and what deserves attention, so we take our limited attention and train it on that bullseye, becoming more efficient at it.
    • But it's a roving bullseye!
