The marginal user represents the gradient towards the most bland thing.
If you chase that gradient, you will speed along the gradient towards the most bland, mundane, same-y thing.
The maximal regression towards the mean.
You arrive at the local minima of the basin of the given domain.
A gravity well for all use cases that start anywhere in that basin.
E.g. all dating apps regress to a smartphone-optimized experience that emphasizes swiping through pictures to find superficial matches.
E.g. all smartphones regress to a 6.7" slab with 3 cameras on the back, 2 on the front, a day of battery life.
