There's a missing software category: Personal System of Record (PSR)
[by]Or maybe we should call it Personal Relationship Manager (PRM)
In the 90's it was called the Personal Information Manager (PIM)
This kind of software used to only be worth it for enterprises to adopt to coordinate business processes.
For individuals they were too much work to maintain, and they did too little for you.
Personal Knowledge Management tools (PKMs) just accumulated data.
But now LLMs can do qualitative nuance at quantitative scale.
We can benefit from infinite software, which means having that a personal system of record is more important than ever before.
The data doesn't just sit around; it can do things.
If it's constructed properly, it could reduce the work required to have outcomes in your life that matter to you.
If we could have it grow whatever features we need, we could have our own personal system of record for everything that's important in our life.
