  • This week I learned where the Fast Fourier Transform came from.
    • ARPA discovered it while trying to figure out how to distinguish earthquakes from nuclear tests.
    • FTT is one of the most miraculous algorithms.
    • There are some people that worship the transformer algorithm.
    • There are, to my knowledge, no people who worship the FTT algorithm.
