  • Viability is not a single dimensional thing, it's a weaving together of multiple interrelated sub-viabilities.
    • For use cases to activate they have to be not only technically viable, but also socially viable.
      • If it requires a network of people to use, there has to be a network for a user within arms reach to be viable.
    • To be fully viable long-term you also need to be financially viable.
      • The whole enterprise has to, on long enough time scales, take in fewer resources than it creates, in order to be self-sustaining.
