  • Vibe surfing is still a useful pattern for curating an LLM's output in a natural way.
    • LLM UIs have gotten much more convergent, "here is the answer, where should we go from here" vs "here are 5 options, pick one"
    • Vibe surfing is a useful interaction where the LLM and the human are in a nice interaction, a coactive loop.
    • But they don't really exist in that many systems right now, especially as the model quality has gotten better.
    • But the quality will never be 100%, so for long-lived tasks it will always be useful!
