When an LLM agent gets going, it's easy to accidentally egg it on.

"Solve this the proper way" gets it to a layer deeper.

But if it's following a path that is already off course it can just make it more confused.

Each layer deeper is another layer of leverage on top of the previous layer.

God help you if the LLM was even a little confused at the layer above.

Before you know it you're totally twisted up and the only move is to unwind it.
