Especially if the receiver has a choice of whether to care.

If they are in a work context where the argument is from their boss, they are obliged to listen.

But if it's an argument some random person makes about something, the receiver can choose to engage or just ignore it.

A too-strong argument feels like a steamroller; it's off-putting and intimidating.

An argument that doesn't take itself too seriously, that is fun and "charismatic" is more likely to be engaged with.

A good way of making it clear you don't take yourself too seriously is to liberally use emojis.

Emojis can make even a deck that is hundreds of slides long not be too intimidating.
