- Google has added AI to a lot of their products, but in an almost perfunctory way.
- Because in those kinds of aggregator contexts, users have to have a theory of mind about the AI:
- What is its goal?
- What are its intentions?
- Is it aligned with me?
- Is it remembering things about me from before to manipulate me?
- That cloud hanging over it prevents any large aggregator from being too aggressive with including AI features.
- But if you don't have those problems, if it's unambiguously working for you with no conflict of interest and doing what you've told it, then you could go AI-heavy on tools.
- Remove the doubt that it's not working for you.
