LLM's infinite patience can be used for research that would be too tedious to bother doing before.

This week I was trying to find which open source project, out of a list of a few hundred I keep an eye on, was a specific one from a few months ago about crypto and TEEs.

I copy/pasted the whole markdown list into ChatGPT 5 Pro and asked it to research and figure out which one I was thinking of.

It looked up hundreds of them and figured out which one I was thinking of.

I imagine we'll see much more web traffic in the age of LLMs.

A single user intent can spawn orders of magnitude more searches and fetches on their behalf.

More traffic to websites, without more intent, seems like a raw deal for the page owner.^[bb]
