  • Technology on its own is great, an optimistic force for humanity's thriving.
    • It's the tech broligarchy part that's the problem.
    • The tech is fine, it's the centralized power structures and hyper-financialized approach I don't like.
    • In the past we had many ecosystems we could pick from some of which were walled gardens.
    • Now we have a handful of options to pick from, all of which are walled gardens.
    • This hyper centralization is not an intrinsic property of technology; it just so happens to be where we ended up within this set of physics in the late stage.
    • So let's change it!
    • Now is the time to reset the power dynamics, given that we have a disruptive technology bursting onto the scene.
    • The birth of a new early stage where we can put the tech to humanistic ends.
