The hard part of finding a distilled insight is the finding of it.
A distilled insight is a short package of information that leads to an "aha" moment in some of the people who receive it.
Those aha moments are the edge of understanding, and if one person has that confusion, others likely do too.
Once you have it, the sharing is easy and effective.
If the receiver of it doesn't have an aha moment from it, then it only took them a few seconds of opportunity cost to tell them.
But if it does have the aha moment, it saves them immeasurable time.
When navigating an organization through a complex topic, when a 1:1 has an 'aha' moment, share that with the group.
Continue sharing it to larger and larger audiences until you don't see any new receivers having an "aha!" moment.
