This week I came across a load-bearing Lovable app in the wild.

It was a search and contract component for a small nanny placement service.

It's an example of the power of custom long-tail software in a domain that previously would not have justified custom software.

The experience was significantly better than one would have been without it.

However, it's prudent, when you see a Lovable link for a load-bearing thing that requires sensitive information, to assume that it's naively or maliciously implemented and you shouldn't trust it with your data.

At least flows cobbled together out of things like Google Forms don't have to build their own security posture.
