All organizations are fundamentally dysfunctional.

They must be.

The principal agent problem is why.

The individual and the collective can never be fully aligned.

That lack of alignment between individual and collective is the negative space that Goodhart's law emerges out of, which is emergent dysfunction.

The only way to get asymptotically close is with "infinites" that everyone believes in.

But those have their own problems.
