  • If you want Google to change a feature just for you, you're one speck out of billions.
    • Of course they won't.
    • They would only do it if one of the employees thought it was in their business interest, and was motivated enough to coordinate a bunch of other employees.
    • You are one individual molecule in a vast ocean of users.
    • At that scale Google can't think about what individuals need–there's far too many.
    • Centralized software requires treating your customers as a vast anonymous market, not as individuals.[aef]
    • It would be like asking Kraft to make a version of Kraft Dinner with your favorite flavor.
      • Impossible. Ludicrous. Unthinkable.[aeg]
