      • Positive-sum perspective.
      • Of course, there were all kinds of downsides in that social system!
    • But now it's "whatever's best for me, ignore the externalities."
      • Zero-sum perspective.
    • Nothing builds.
    • It's all a red queen race.
    • Eat or be eaten.
