The fact that you can have different thoughts than others is the reason interesting thoughts exist at all.

If you had to have the same thoughts as everyone else, nothing interesting, nothing innovative could happen.

It would all just be pulled to the centroid, the status quo.

And yet the boundary between our minds is hard to communicate over, and why sharing a good idea is so hard.

The vast majority of human experience is just running around in a cacophony of people shouting to be heard with what they think is a useful insight, above the cacophony of everyone else doing the same.

"What's that??? I can't hear you, I'm so busy sorting through all of the incoming signals yelling in my ear about things that don't matter and I don't care about!"
