    • People are chasing you as you chase others.
    • … ad infinitum.
    • This goes up more than linearly, because often multiple other projects depend on any individual project.
    • The faster things are moving, the more slack you need to absorb that extra chasing energy without transmitting it on to the rest of the organization.
